Hey, I’m Indi,
Here, I offer a space to gather, move, and breathe together, a gateway into building and tending to the relationship with Self. I believe it is through community that we – as John O'Donohue so beautifully puts it – 'bring candlelight perception to our inner landscape.'
The practice is gentle in nature, which doesn't mean we won’t challenge our bodies, but rather that I deeply trust your ability to choose poses that feel supportive, and to let go of those that don’t.
I draw on the ‘teacher within’ philosophy: the belief that while I may be your guide, your body is the ultimate teacher. For this reason, we focus on how our movement 'feels' rather than how it 'looks', I offer very few 'hands-on' adjustments, and provide plenty of space for intuitive movement.
My teaching is rooted in my multi-style yoga teacher training, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and training in Compassionate Inquiry. Sessions always include pranayama and moments of meditation, and may also weave in Tai Chi, Somatics, and principles from the Polyvagal Theory, inspired by the work of Arielle Schwartz.
